  1. As the title reads: I have a project on the production laptop that needs to be started remotely and wirelessly. It should be a remote that can be carried around, something like an iPad but not bigger. Basically it only comes down to the space bar being triggered, that's all. Has anyone already done this or any ideas for this?
  2. I'mconfused. I was convinced HAP is the best codec for playback in WatchOut? How can a compressed h.264 be better than uncompressed HAP for playback?
  3. Yes thank you all I got it working now. I know about the Output Channel Assignment but I only got it working after I installed the Asio driver on the display computer
  4. No I didn't install any driver at all. It works after rebooting the display computer by the way. But I can't figure out how I select in Watchout production what output channel on the soundcard I want to use. I have 4 seperate audiofiles and I want them to be played on 4 different outputs.
  5. Ok It works after rebooting the display computer. Strange because I had done it before.
  6. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow, when I'm back at the office. Anyways, volume tween is set to 100. I guess my WO project is configurateed fine, since I hear the sound coming from the LCD screen which is connected to the HDMI port, when I select it as Audio output. But when I select ESI of onbaord card with minijack out, it doesn't work, although I can get sound from WIndows.
  7. I use the latest version 6.7.2. Audiocard is connected to the display computer. In the meantime I have acces to the 'Audio Out' menu in the display computer, but I can 't get any sound to play from the card in WO. In Windows it plays fine. When I select the LCD screen connected to the display computer the sound I hear the sound through the internal speakers from the screen. But when I select the ESI audiocard or the minijack out from the displaycomputer there is no sound going to the speakers. Thanks for the help already.
  8. Hi, I just got a ESI Gigaport eX, since it was recommended by someone in the Facebook group. It is detected by Windows without driver as promised. So far so good. But now I'm stuck on how to get it integrated in my project and how to send my 4 sound files to my 4 different outputs/speakers. Can someone help me out? Also the 'Audio Out' menu in the windowed output is greyed out, I cannot select it. I use the latest version 6.7.2. Audiocard is connected to the display computer. Thanks a lot for your help.
  9. Since updating to 6.6.4 I get this message when starting up the WATCHOUT display application. I need to click it 20 times to get rid of it and then it works. But ofcourse I want to solve this issue. Thanks for any help.
  10. Hi, It has probably been asked before, but I can't find a satisfying respons to my question: I have a self-build playout machine, running WIndows 10 Pro, 10.0.18362 Build 18362. i7-7700 CPU @3.60Ghz 4 Cores. AMD FirePro W9100 S400 sync card WO v6.5 I've been using a single playout machine for,my projects (since the W9100 card has 6 outputs), but I will probably need more than one machine for larger projects. For now we are using a machine for a tv show, only for scaling and positioning 2 signals (decklink SDI 4K and Datapath VisionLC -HD2) we get from the tv control room. The ledwall is too wide for one output so I created a left and right output, both connected to a NovaPro HD processor. My question: the outputs aren't synced, you can see a line in the screen where the next signal begins, not a black line but a difference in timing, since left and right aren't synced like it should be. Before I have use the machine in a LCD mosaic setup, where you can 't see the sync issue. I thought outputs one the same card are always sync, but when using multiple machine you need to use the S400? Thanks for any advice you can give.
  11. 300 meters of SDI cable? That is three times longer than the average maximum of 100 meters that SDI supports, depending on the resolution of the SDI signal. I'm surprised it even works over that distance. Have you tried a 100 meter cable? I have had the distorted audio signal too with BM micro convertor too btw.
  12. I had trouble getting my Blackmagic Decklink SDI 4k card working. It worked fine in Blackmagic Express, but nothing showed up in WO. I finally got it working by changing 'Digital Video Standard' to 'Custom Video' when double clicking on the input in the media window. Good luck
  13. Hi, I have been using Datapath VisionLC-HD2 (2 x HDMI input) for over a year now, and it has been working fine. We use our WO server for a tv show where we get 2 SDI inputs which we convert tot HDMI. Since last week the signal output is shaky. I found out that when I pull out one of the two inputs (doesn't matter which one) the other one is becomes stable. If I look directly to the inputs using the Datapath software these inputs are ok, so I guess it is WO that can't cope with the 2 HDMI signals at the same time (all of a sudden). That is ofcourse strange because it worked untill last week. I'm sure nothing in the setup or preferences in WO changed, since I am the only one operating it. I also have a Blackmagic SDI input card, and when I connect one of my two inputs it works ok, together with the other input on the HDMI card. So the result is ok, but I really want to find out why I suddenly have that problem when connecting the two inputs on the HDMI input card. Anyone? Thanks!
