  1. Lately I've noticed that scaling or repositioning a video source is laggy or slow in the interface. The video playback itself is fine, but trying to change the size real-time is not nearly as responsive as it was before I am trying to figure out what could have changed that would cause this issue. It's frustrating because you can't really see what you're doing when it lags that badly. NDI sources are also lagging and not coming it at frame rate even though NDI Monitor is able to display 4k at 60fps very smoothly. Not sure if those two things are related or not. Any suggestions?
  2. I’m trying to map to a 3D stage design. I import the geometry and it seems to be ok, looks fine on the production computer. But when I go to load the show, the transfer process hangs and I have to kill Watchout on the display computer. It looks like is actually launching a second instance of Watchout for some reason. I’ve tried exporting the geometry a few different ways (from Sketchup) and the same thing happens whether it’s an obj or 3ds file.
  3. 3d mapping the set pieces wouldn’t be terribly complicated, but if they’re moving? That’s a whole mother issue. Then you’re talking about real-time tracking that has to be very accurate or the illusion falls apart. That’s pretty high end, like BlackTrax. http://blacktrax.cast-soft.com/howitworks/ Unless you don’t need to project on the shapes *while* they’re moving, just at two different positions during the show. In which case you’d just need two different setups and make sure your stage hands are really accurate with their placement marks.
