I searched the forum but couldn´t find an answer:

Doese WO6 support h.265 ?

No. Besides its lower data rate (which usually isn't of much use for WATCHOUT), I see no particular advantage of using it with WATCHOUT. It's a significantly heavier codec than H264, and hardware accelleration is so far pretty much non-existent.

I agree, but unfortunately I got some files from my client in h265.

So I have to recode......

Hi all,

 

My client send me the files all in H265 Format. I try to find Watchout codec. but couldn't find this codec. It will work in WO6.

 

Can any one send me the new codec file supported in Watchout6 version.

Hi.

Has anyone any experience regarding H265-video in Watchout.

Will files coded in H265 ha as high bitrate as HAP-files?

I need to use files 5K wide and due to handling of disk space at the producers end i would like to avoid HAP if possible.

 

Ideas?
