Is a CPU with only 4 Cores but 3,5 GHz better than a CPU with 8 Cores but only 2,4 GHz? Does Watchout use more Cores on one CPU? Thanks for your thoughts! Greetings Matthias Yes, WATCHOUT fully utilizes multi-threading in movie decoding. It also depends on the media being played. Decoding just one 4k movie probably benefits from more speed.
