But this is only half of a 4K playout? would it be better to enocode a full 4K and distribute over the two outputs? what would be recommended encoding settings for 4K H264?

We have a problem with playback of video with a resolution of 3840x1080 or 4096x1080 on a Watchpax2 going to two side by side 2K projectors. MP4 is encoded using Adobe Media Encoder with High 5.1 profile in 25mbit/s. If going scaling down in resolution(2500x720) and bitrate(5mbit/s) it plays back fine.. Any ideas on how to avoid scaling down?

Hi We have a setup with a Windows 8.1 PC running Watchout/Watchout Remote and a Watchpax2 connected to 2K projectors. When running a simple looping show using Watchout Remote it sometimes stops with a unspecified Network error. Is this the watchout application on the Watchpax2 that crashes the playout or a Network error?

We have a setup with a watchpax II outputting 2 times 2K(2048x1080 at 50Hz). This is feed into two projectors. When playing a timeline with 2 videos we only get a starting Picture (Stage Windows on production PC plays back fine) and then another frame if doing an stage - update or stage - rebuild show cache. I should mention the system is currently on a 100mbit switch - is gigabit needed? Please advice?
