  1. This technique just hides the logo during updates. (I know the answer but I'll ask anyway... ) Is there a way to suppress the logo alltogether? I recently had a show where watchpoint crashed and brought the watchout screen backup with an hour glass. I had to force quit WatchPoint and relaunch to clear the screen... fortunately I had a switched backup but it would have been much better if the screen was just went black.
  2. I've seen this too! Sorry I don't know what causes this but I'd like ot know what causes it. I have seen this multiple WatchPoint apps running when I remote in from a production computer as well.
  3. Thanks Jonas, There use to be a list of background processes that were recommended to turn off. Can you provide or point me to a list of recommended tweaks for Windows 7? This would be extremely helpful... Below are some obvious ones... Can you provides others? Thanks! Disable Virus Protection Disable Firewall Set theme and power settings for performance Disable notifications Disable automatic updates Disable system tray programs System Processes: ???
  4. Thanks, One more question, given that Watchout excels in a 32bit system, is there an advantage to going to windows 7 (32bit)? I have several system witrh Windows XP, I'm now inclined to keep XP for now unless there's a reason to upgrade.
  5. Is there a reason you used a 32bit OS here? Wouldn't a 64bit system be better?
  6. Has anyone used a touch screen as user input to trigger WATCH OUT timelines? I'm looking to use Watchout as a media server for multiple touch screens. I know that a dedicate computer may be the best approach but there are other factors here that warrant putting everything on a Watchout network... I suspect I will need an intermediate device to convert touch screen input to MIDI or DMX values. First use case: Simple trigger to move timeline forward. (mouse up event) second use case: Take multiple touch screen inputs from multiple touch screens to trigger timeline forward for each specific display... (mouse up event ) third use case: Take multiple inputs to trigger timeline forward for specific displays... (mouse up event - mouse location) Feasible? Any thoughts? Thx, Curtis
  7. What graphic cards are recommended that support 4 or 6 displays?
