  1. Remember though that WO7 supports multiple NIC setups
  2. Perhaps you should tell us more about the setup / machines / network connection you're using. Usually, the asset pending only shows if you just put the content on the timeline and Watchout is still in the process of providing the asset to the playback device. But if you'd run the assetmanager on the runner, after optimization, it should show immediately. If you click the clock item top right of your producer screen, is there any indication something is still downloading? And what does the info on the asset tell you? (select the asset and have a look at the property pane)
  3. No, there is no such setting. My personal experience on 7, used on a variety of producer systems, that is doesn't matter where you import it from. Local drive, usb drive, network drive. I'm able to just import, it gets ingested and I (could) delete the original file directly afterwards. (or remove the external drive). There must be something else that's prohibiting , you could send a feedback report to support ??
  4. What exactly doesn’t work? What does the splashscreen show if you follow the instruction above?
  5. Tip of the day = select your device under "Devices" and choose "reset services to default" in the property pane. It will render the display info and show you the appropriate display channel number. Once you (de)activate a display, the display info will again disappear on all displays.
  6. Yes, this setup is possible. The downside possibly is that depending on the hardware configuration and what you're asking from it, playback can suffer from the render process in the asset manager. (so uploading a latest version of the a video during show, which is possible now, could interfere with fluent playback). Other practical downside is that you'd always have to program with the display pc connected to your producer. Otherwise, you could program with the license connected to your laptop, but afterwards you'd have to transfer the assets to the display PC, (if by that point you'd want to move the asset manager to the display PC to save a license). As far as I can see those are the biggest issues.
  7. Not yet Hubert. Expected in a later release (it’s on the roadmap).
  8. OK, Walter, this just blew my mind.  I am running a not-so-fast Lenovo i5 Legion laptop running Windows 11, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050, 16 GB of RAM and an i7-11800H processor.  I am sending the output display to an external monitor at 2560x1600 with 7 various-size videos, and they are all looping and running without a stutter.  Wow!

    2-11520x1440, one with audio

    2-1920x1080

    2-4096x2160

    1-4020x520

I can't seem to break WO.

  9. Question = can you test if it also works if you load an edid onto the output? (so the card THINKS there is something connected?) Let me know
  10. Hi Andreas, conditions won't return in the same form but an alternative solution which will work even better, will be implemented.
  11. As Tomas said, it's (usually) a lack of preroll. I've noticed WO7 works in this way differently than WO6. With WO6 you didn't have such a warning. It just worked, until it didn't and the solution was to create more preroll or set a pause cue to preload the media. In WO7 it warns you, sometimes before you even notice. (so it shouldn't be a problem at all, it just tells you your playout isn't accurate).
  12. Q = where do you create your custom resolution? I've had numerous issues with MX2 hardware and EDID's... always needed a lot of tweaking deep inside the EDID to resolve these issues. Not really sure as to why, just learned it as a trick to resolve issues... But I know for a fact that EDID's can harbour a bunch of issues inside, which aren't apparent since resolution seems fine... But also recently on an AW Aquilon, drove the operators crazy, until they were provided with a different EDID, directly captured into the GPU and suddenly all played nice with eachother.
  13. Hmmm... "Display Setting not available" actually just sounds like there's a mismatch in FPS between show-setting and display-setting. (50 vs 60 )
  14. I’ve done quite a few projects this way using Madrix as pixelmapper. Really affordable and extremely easy to use.
