  1. To assign the audio cue/file channel output: https://www.dataton.com/watchout-users-guide/cues/sound-cue-specifications and how do you connect the audio interface? Production PC: File>Preferences> Audio out setting Choose the interface & set the correct output channel NOTE: The “Audio Out” settings in the Preferences dialog box apply only to the production computer. Display PC. Each display computer has its own, independent assignment of audio output channel. This is accessed through the “Audio Out” menu shown by pressing Ctrl-W on a display computer (see https://www.dataton.com/watchout-users-guide/installation/sound
  2. corners tween may help if it is really "simple". and you can also apply corners in the Virtual Display.
  3. it might fall into another profile or level if resolution has changed. so please compare 2 files(not just resolutions)
  4. GPU model and driver version? Watchout version? https://www.dataton.com/watchout-release-notes Dataton WATCHOUT® version 6.6.7 An issue with newer NVIDIA drivers (version 461.x and later) affecting conversion to NV12 color space has been fixed. but interesting thing is 2000x768 works, what is the different between 1920x768 & 2000x768 (except resolution)? are the level same?
  5. Do you mean alpha channel? try double click on the file(media window) and set the Transparency to Straight Alpha, instead of auto detect.
  6. not exactly understand your question. But if you want to move bunch of cues/media... try to use MOVE (ctrl+m) function. https://www.dataton.com/watchout-users-guide/commands/edit-menu#move
  7. default setting is 5 mins. You can set it in the preference.
  8. you can use multiviewer or similar product to capture 4output. but if adding hardware is not an option. then the answer is unfortunately no. is web cam an option? Not sure what is your ultimate goal (and budget? ), "real" output preview? "fake" preview? or just some thumbnail....?
  9. you need go online in order to have actual artnet dmx output. and try to use some artnet monitor on another computer, make sure everything go through.
  10. You can check with other TCP / UPD testing tools(Such as Putty), so you can make sure the command are correct.
  11. Please send your .watch project to support. https://dataton.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals
  12. https://knowledge.dataton.com/knowledge/how-to-encode-hap-files-for-watchout-playback FFmpeg isnt that complicated. you can always write a .bat command to encode batch videos. you can drag & drop to that .bat or batch encode videos in folder(s) some people do create UI for ffmpeg, you can google that. if you can setup preset in ME (and tested), then create a watch folder is also a good idea.
  13. "mute" the volume of the timecode input from the audio interface would be more straightforward.
  14. if you know the format is 25, choose 25! avoid using auto detect. and timecode works from my test on both 6.6.5, 6.7 production & timecode tester
  15. Hi again Jason. Watchout can not select NIC. It will pick the first one(it define by the OS) when starting. If delay more than 15s, is NOT normal. network seldom take more the 10seconds to be ready. You should check something else. Don't run Watchout on startup. run IP config on startup, see if you can see the "correct" nic are ready. and check your network settings. and how's your IP setting for both nic? and how do you know it is on the wrong nic? by IP address or?
  16. i always reserve layer 1-4 for control cues & notes. so you can easily see when will stop or when is next cue/scene.
  17. Do you mean the video disappear on the Production PC Stage window? or Display output? I can see your "pause" cue are overlapped with the video (red line) Please try to put the pause cue on different layer, see if it helps.
  18. Hi again Jason, There's many success case using 2 or more nics. Before you spend time to look for other options, Just spend 5 mins to test the -Delay command. if you don't willing to do the test, that is the real deal end.
  19. Hi Jason, Believe it or not: 1.Watchout can not select NIC 2 Watchout can be loaded before the network is ready 3.OS need some time to load drivers/settings....and also network. 4.link lights on/blinking does not mean network is ready in OS/Watchout If you believe my above "experience", you can try 1. set the Watchout NIC Interface metric to 1 2. set ~15seconds Delay start for Watchout Display. or manually start Watchout Display instead of "startup". The delay command is made for waiting "something"(network is one of something) to be ready before Watchout Display start. 3. test it I could be wrong. but without trying, you never know. "Trial and error" or Just Try to run a simple ipconfig on startup. you will see the network is ready or not. then you can choose what to believe.
  20. This simplest feature in the world already exist in Watchout since version3, Which called "Looping". and here's user guide on how to enable the loop function. https://www.dataton.com/watchout-users-guide/cues/advanced-cue-specifications try to read the manual or google "watchout loop" shouldn't be this difficult... PERFECT LOOP? First: Watchout is not editing/compositing software. perfect loop video should create in other application, such as aftereffect. then you can simply loop the video, instead of editing/compositing in Watchout. Second: if you insist doing editing/compositing a perfect looping video in Watchout, You should use composition(Plus LOOPING function), instead of jumping on the (AUX)timeline
  21. can you see all 4outputs from watchpax? you should see output number 1,2,3,4 after the ip number(from the watchpax standby screen).
