panasonic control TCP Control the Panasonic projector shutter switch
Quim replied to qqweii's topic in WATCHOUT FORUM
PJlink control of the Panasonic projectors is like a little pain, often are not responding to the commands, with WO, AMX or simple PYTHON programs that work fine with other projectors or devices, I often send the commands twice to get a response. Sometimes I use "Chataigne" for simple control and web interface and you can see how the Panasonic projectors are automatically close the connection then Chataigne in reconnecting again. Hi Jason, I used double NIC many times with Windows priority, specially when using DANTE VIRTUAL SOUND CARD, with no problems and I always use de -Delay command to be sure all drivers and specially network are correctly set, I normally use 10 seconds but you always need to check if you need more to be sure all is ready. But anyway, you are right, you should be able to select which NIC to use in Watchout, hope they include it in the next version. Best regards, Quim

sdi setup How to setup SDI input/output on Watchpax 60C
Quim replied to Quim's topic in WATCHOUT FORUM
Thank you Jim. Best regards, Quim -
Hi, I'm in aproject with a client that has a Watchpax 60 C and I wonder how to setup the SDI as outputs. I couldn't find any reference on the PDF user manual how to set up the SDI as inputs or outputs. I'm missing anything? Thank youç Quim

You can use DMX for this because same channel number and universe for out and in, nothing to do with names. Regarding generic outputs and inputs are not related, and would be great if could use generic outputs as variables so that kind of actions would be easier to sort.

I agree with you!!

Thank you Rainer, I forgot to talk about the Companion

Hi, One thing you can do is to create as many Control Cues with different names you need and then same number of auxiliary timelines to jump to the related control cue and then trigger this auxiliary timelines from the streamdeck

Using Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) on Windows 10
Quim replied to mindopera's topic in WATCHOUT FORUM
Hi, I just set a system with DVS with 30 channels splitted in 2 WO servers. It's working fine using 2 NIC, one for the WO and the other for the DVS. When you setup your NIC properties, if you go to Advanced Options, for the WO NIC you should disable Automatic Metric and set it to 1. For the NIC used by the DVS you can leave it to Automatic. WO will take the Metric 1 as NIC and you can set the DVS to use the other one. Hope helps. Quim -
Hi all, We have a system with the Dante VSC working great for output but I wonder if there's any way to use to send TC to WO to sync. Best regards, Quim

Hi, I've been involved in a very big project where I had to add many correction points and it's quite hard when I have to select, modify, so would good to have for the next version a zoom option in the geometry tap of the Display window. Same in the View and Calibrate taps for 3D projectors. Best regards, Quim
