Thank you Miro. There is something that I missed from the beginning of the Watchnet and is the ability to enable or disable Schedule Events from a Script or a Panel. Would be useful when you had a programmed show in the Schedule and you wanted to stop it and play manually a show from a Panel, without the need to go to the Schedule page. Hope understand what I mean. Thank you.

Hi Tyskern, I had some similar behaviour sometimes, in my case what happened was when playing video on screen it frozen, WO Displays went to WO Logo but I had to do Update or Offline - Online to recover them. My case was not related to live inputs, was related to many MP4 videos playing at same time, so Displays could not afford it. Solved changing to less stress codec like MP2 or HAP. Hope helps you.

Hi David, You can do it adding a command line on the Watchpoint shortcut, if you add -ShowPath /E:/ it will store the shows on E: unit. You can find information at page 172 of the Watchout 6.1 manual. I realised on the manual put -ShowsPath instead -ShowPath. Is it a mistake?

Zaharbaz, You can use Datapath or Magewell capture cards, they have multiple input cards. For your budget you may can use one Magewell 2 HDMI inputs and one Magewell 1 SDI input or a 2 SDI input. You could have until 4 inputs at same time, you need 2 pci-e free lanes. Or a 4 HDMI inputs and use SDI-HDMI converter.

Hi all, I'm in a project that we are going to use several Wathpax 4 to feed 4K videowall. My question is if we want to use Cat5e/Cat6 extenders, the only I've found for the moment are HDMI 2.0 up to 60 Hz 4:2:0 or 30 Hz 4:4:4. My question is if I can get 60 Hz 4:2:0 with the Watchpax4? Or I had to go douwn unti 30 Hz 4:4:4? Thank you,

Hi Mike, I'm doing some tests converting 4K to MPEG2 using ffmpeg and doesn't work. When I try to compress 4096x2048 and 4096x1708 ffmpeg message me "width or high are not allowed to be multiples of 4096 add -strict -1 if you want to use them anyway". And if I add it then conversion works but can't the media compressed doesn't work. This is the command line I use: ffmpeg.exe -i "INPUT/%name%.mp4" -f vob -vcodec mpeg2video -strict -1 -b:v %bitrate% -minrate %bitrate% -maxrate %bitrate% -g 15 -bf 0 -an -trellis 2 "OUTPUT/%name%.mpg" Any idea or advise? Hello, I wonder if it could be possible to use simultaneously Watchnet and any external control to trigger some aux timelines. The idea is to have Watchnet for the main control of the Watchout on the show but it should be triggered by a button on the room. We could do a simple application to convert the command sent by Ethernet the GPIO to a run or setInput command. Is Watchnet using a TCP or UDP connection with WO? Any suggestion would be welcome. I have my Production computer with Windows 10 and I can't set up the audio outputs, I can see on the menu the sound devices but I can't select it. Tried with WO 6.0.1 and WO 6.0.2. I would like to know if it's something related to WO 6 and W10 or something I have wrong on my system. With other computer with W7 works fine.

The question is how to manage the two different EDID of the displays. For testing I had no problem using DVI and VGA DP adaptors but never used in real settups, but I experimented in the past extrange random issues when using displays with different EDDID, so always use EDID managers. Quim

Hi Steve, one option I thoug is to use an Artnet switching input and use a regular remote control, as used for automatic doors, an use it to activate inputs on the device and then it will send a DMX level to the Watchout cluster and trigger an Aux timeline.

Hello Gav, 1. Watchout is only available in Windows. 2. If you want to test it and start to learn it you don't need any license. Once installed the Watchout software you can play with the Production application. You can use most of the features. Quim
