  1. What I want to say is; it would be interesting to see details of a test with one video playing it 6 times on two machines that are differentiated only by the GPU.
  2. Decomp of Video-Codecs is what the CPU (not the GPU) is doing, and because of the higher compression of H264 ( than mpg) the CPU has to work more! So no wonder that struggling begins much earlier when using H264 instead of mpg.
  3. to make this complete, the using of Images (png, tif, jpeg, dds and so on) as textures for 3D objects!

    WO + Sensor

@ ian as you can see I mentioned this link before, but ... @ altar eowave.com (which is the same thing as the I-CubeX) is the better choice for you. Its cheaper, the guys are french, and its working fine! What you need is a Eobody3 Sensorbox and the Eowave Detection. I didn´t worked with this special detector, but I used to have some experience with other, and the eowave worked always well. If you only need one input you can give a try to the Eowave Eomono Sensorbox. It comes together with one sensor of your choice. Tom

    WO + Sensor

Hi altar, where are you from? Try this website for midi-equipment : http://www.eowave.com or this : http://infusionsystems.com They offer midi systems with different sensors, and both are working perfectly together with watchout. Tested in several shows and environments. Tom
  6. First about the license key driver missing. I had this problem 2 or 3 times in the last years. I installed the Wibu runtime and everything was fine. But this shouldn´t be the normal case. When you´ve got the time, you should make a new install of your OS ( Win7 or 8). Maybe that will also help with you connection probs. But don´t forget you control-computer! When loosing the network, do ALL the display-computers lose their connection ? (Then check control-computer, reinstall windows on it, change nw-cable and switch) Reinstalling your Windows is the magic thing, that will help in a lot of issues. When using an image of a clear install, this is done within 10-15 minutes.
  7. Hi Jonas, you are right. We tested the P8Z77WS together with FirePro-Cards and the Asus 7970 DC2T together with Deltacast and Datapath Grabber-Cards with a realtime 3d-Live Software. We havn´t had more delay in comparison to an Asus P9X79 WS with 3930K or a Supermicro c602 with E5-1650 (+ / - 1 Frame)
  8. Try the Asus P87 WS (WS=WorkStation). It supports usage of Dual x16 Ports without sharing Lanes! So you can use Graphiccard and Capturecard, both with 16 lanes connnection. And it´s a little bit cheaper, you don´t have to pay for the "Gamers and Overclockers extra Charge" I used this Board a lot of times with Socket 1155 and never had any problems!
  9. @ Thomas it works! Here´s your script, tested! ShellExecute ("C:\Users\su2300\Documents\testvideo.watch") sleep(10000) Send("{SPACE}") Maybe you didn´t set the Path into ("...") ? Unfortunately I can´t append the script as file.
  10. Try to do it with Autoit. Here´s a small example: ShellExecute ("Path_to_your_Show.watch") ; Comment: Full Path to your Showfile sleep (10000) ; Comment: Script will wait 10 seconds to continue Send("{SPACE}") ; Comment: Script send a space Adjust the time to make shure Watchout is started and the Show is loaded completely Instead of "SPACE" you can send all ASCII commands or even "TAB" or "f1" to jump the locator. Tom
  11. "I know that ATi cards with DisplayPort still need the active adaptor when more that two ports are used." We´re running a 4 DP-Output from an AMD W7000 with passive Adapters and an Infinity Group! It works fine!
  12. Hi Sydney, the time a Watchout Show arises with a lot of Strg D and L, I always delete that cache files on display computers from time to time. Especially when there is "Showtime" I always kill them and force a reload.
  13. Hi Omar, I agree with Neil, I think Adela talked about two different Networkadapters in one machine. So if there are more then one, Switch off those ones you don´t need, even if it´s WiFi-Network-Card. And, very important, don´t use more than one! Ip-Adress in a networkadapter! If you are using more then one Ip (one for the Watchout-Network and maybe a second for your Office-Network or for an Internetconnection, Watchout won´t work properly, if the Ip-Adress for Watchout isn´t the first one in the list of the Network-Adapter! This problem we have since WO 4.x. Another thing you can try: sometimes the GUI of Watchout-Production doesn´t work properly, the locator can´t be stoped or started and so on. To fix it, you just have to minimize the complete Watchout-Production-Windows into the Taskbar and maximize again. Maybe this will help you too.
  14. Hi geogen, thanks for your answer, but something must be wrong. When opening your link in #1 (using IE10) there is just this link on the left side "Show in Windows Store". No buy or try button. When pushing the link, nothing happens. When searching inside the Windowsstore with keywords "midi" or "Controller" nothing can be found. Could you check this please? Maybe its only available when os is in English? Can´t imagine, my os is German. Thanks in advance Tom Update: Got it! I tried it with my Win8 Tablet. But still the App can´t be found within Windows Store with keywords. Maybe my Office-PC couldn´t load it because I have no Touchscreen?
  15. Hi geogen, tried to find your app in Windows store using win8, but there are no search results. Your link in #1 is fine but no download there! In contrast to others i can´t understand the excitement around Win8. It is faster then Win7 and stable as well. Together with "Classic Start Menu" I can use it just like Win7 and have the ability to use Apps. No other OS can give you this functionality! 3,99€ is a JOKE for this app, please keep it alive!
  16. Hi Jonas, you give out a recommendation for a gadget that doesn´t support 1080 AND 50Hz. We´re in Europe!
