Try using FFmpeg to encode HAP, HAPQ, HAP ALPHA, it always work perfectly with WATCHOUT.

Try writing again ALL your parameters within the control cue, and test it to see if this causing the problem.

sounds interesting as I have encountered similar issue recently while sending "gotoControlCue video0" to WP20 version6.5, but somehow it wouldn't happen again after few reboot. I thought it was a coincidence at that time and didn't look into it too much. Good to know.

Same problem here. four 4k are connecting to WATCHMAX 2.0. transfer speed is worse with 6.4.1

I have encountered similar case before, unable to perfect sync two display machine by using AMD framelock time server.

like what Benoit said. I tried using external house sync generator to fix it. My case is applying Rosendahl Nanosyncs HD for sending HD1920x1080, 60Hz.

[Hardware to WatchOut]

It has been a while since 2015 we provided these mechinces, I expect that it's time to dust off the machine and have a check if all of fans inside the chassis work properly. 

Good airflow & air conditioning will definitely help on this.

Hi Quin, I have similar setup with WATCHPAX 2 recently to run a 3840 x1200px HAP video (around 2mins, 9GB) , and I tried 4 chunks and no chunks, both are running smooth with WATHCPAX 2.

I think  it was just a package that sync module come with the graphic cards likeNVIDIA QUADRO M4000 SYNC, QUADRO M5000 SYNC, QUADRO M6000 SYNC,, but physically there was 2 cards in the box.

Hi there,

 

I'm a catalyst operator and I want to jump in watchout 6 in order to understand how I can replace catalyst in same cases.

 

My question are focused on the hardware side, I have a media server with an AMD R9 290 with 2 DVI, 1DP and 1 HDMI out.

 

For the next work were I would like to use watchout I have a big ledwall that work with 2 DVI ledwall controllers. With catalyst I'm used to split the big resolution of the ledwall with a datapath x4, with this solution I get a perfect sync between the 2 output of the x4.

 

Can I do the same thing with watchout?

What will happen if I connect the ledwall controller directly to the VGA DVI output (with EDID emulator)? Will I get perfect sync?

Wath about sync if I use the DP with an MST Hub?

You may need a Firepro grade graphic card with S400 sync module (or same grade of Nvidia) with framelock features in this case in order to get a perfect sync.

Recently I have a show in order to feed 6 x HD signal for the main LED wall, and it works great wtih Firepro W9100 and S400. hope this help

[Problems with sync on ATI W7100's 4th output and S400]

You may lock up all of outputs of W7100 by managing EDID function under Fire pro Catalyst. The signal should not be jump or re-order afterward.

S400 is very sensitive on the outputs EDID, please make sure the forth on is same with the others or simulate all EDID by the first output and clone it. Otherwise, they could not be synced.

[Datapath Input Freeze]

Hi

 

When I switch to Datapath inputs, the captured  feed freezes in a few seconds.  I have to Offline/Online back and forth to go on. Tried with 3 different computers. Decklink input is just fine though.

 

Drivers and Watchout are all latest version.

Please noted that only the DMX1TR - DMX-512 Transceiver Version 3 is not work with WATCHOUT at this moment.

 

For the others V3 I/O control Like IO3CC or IO8CC..etc, they works well like version 2. by my test.

Im wondering what kind of software you use to produce this kind of files. (even QT, Procoder, etc cannot read the info of the video files.)

 

I have try another way to produce a 2330 x 1050 H264 file.

produce a animation mov 50 fps by AE, convert it by adobe media encoder to H264 (.mp4)

(why I use adobe media encoder because the size was limited at 2000 x 1xxx px in Procoder. this limitation may come from H264 Level issue).

 

Then I got the same result with your .m4v file. It freezes at the first frame.

 

To me, I prefer to use pre-spilt mpeg files for the playback.

Yes. you are right. And it works perfect via TCP/IP.

I just want to give a test with KISSBOX RS4tr to see if it can convert TCP/IP command to RS232 generally. I may it in to control some lighting stuff in the future project. Anyway, thank you for your reply.

We have a Kissbox RS4tr 4port serial over ip box in a show. We are having a little trouble getting commands to the Barco SLM r12+ for dowser control.

We are sending an output to it's IP address on port 9812, but I'm curious if you need to tell it anything else about which of the 4 ports to go to.

We only need the 1 port to work,

Could be that we have the HEX wrong, but that's a completely different story.

[A Question on WO 5.1 multi Output]

When I power on the Display server, WATCHOUT Display will auto run at the startup and go FULLSCREEN.

It will go back to "window mode" like Control + W clicked automatically after few seconds. It's only happened in multi ouput case.

Any good solutions to solve it?
