  1. I am trying to build a WATCHNET panel that controls the volume of a WATCHOUT show. I am using a previous installation I did early as my template for this project and have copied the input and parameter info. (See photos) I have set up a generic input called volume and a parameter on the audio file that should respond to that input. I checked my old file and it works as expected I try it on the new file and it does not respond. What I'm I missing? WATCHOUT 6.2.2 WATCHNET 1.4 I am trying to use
  2. Hi Guys Will Watchout ever support audio inputs via NDI? It would make my life super easy, thanks in advance
  3. Hi, I am tracking to use automation data coming from Creative Conners Spikemark to have a virtual display track a set piece flying in and out of the stage. The input data stream from Spikemark and tween formula is tracking nicely on the Y axis, so far so good. However, as the set piece moves either above or below the projector lens (188.5 on the Y axis), the Z axis needs to change as the set piece is moving further away in 3D space, so Z axis needs to be conditional on the value of Y. So, I think I’m looking for some help writing this expression. Will If / And / Else statements
  4. Hi everyone, I am just evaluating WatchOut 6, and I am trying to use WatchOut 6 to create a more interactive show / event that is tie into a game. To do that, there is a requirement for us to sent some triggering signal from the game (an external sources) and then once WO6 receive the signal, then WO6 will then trigger different certain layer of animations or effects, etc. The source of these signal could be from another computer in the same network, or it could be a physical button, etc. So this is where I get confuse by looking at the WatchOut 6 manual. From what I read, WatchOut can
  5. Hello Everyone I'm trying to create a App or a Web Base app that can help me use a iPad as an interactive touch panel that can work with Watchout. Im creating a project with 10 different farm animals they each have a layer .png image for each animal. Now i want to create something in the ipad where they can click on the ipad the animal and in the live watchout display for the image to move and also play the sound of the animal. Does anyone have done anything similar to this or can some one help me start this up? Thank you in advance for any tips and help regarding this project thanks !!
  6. Hi, I just wanted to share some of my latest BMD Decklink issues, in the hope to get some feedback from some (worried) users. Does someone know, if the newest driver version 10.5.2 for the BMD Decklink Video Capture Cards (SDI Duo/Quad) works with WO? Currently, we have installed version 10.1.1 and 10.3.7 as these work okay, as far as BMD things work... I discovered, when I updating the driver from 10.1.1 to 10.3.7 (to capture a GoPro4, what's not possible with 10.1.1) on a display PC wit Decklink Quad SDI, that older WO shows, with Live Cameras in it, created with the older dri
  7. An great new feature in WATCHOUT version 5.1 is that you can use inputs (DMX, MIDI etc) directly connected to a display cluster (a group of Display Computers) without having to go through the WATCHOUT Production Computer. It is however not enough just to go offline with the Production Computer. You have to "activate" the display cluster first. An easy way to do this is to use the "command file" (see page 247-249 in the manual). You can of course do the same from any external control system. Best regards, Fredrik Svahnberg Dataton
