Hello! I am running into a possible bug in Watchout 6.4.1 where a pre-loaded video freezes when it is fading up. Running a video before it, preloading the next clip - fading up that cue causes an inconsistent freeze. It seems that it only happens when I am manually pre-loading. The clip that is having the issues is free-running and looping. Thanks!
Hello I bought a laptop MSI ge73vr 7re raider i7 with a gtx 1060 and 32GB RAM running win10 pro. Im trying to use watchout production on it since several days. The software looks ok while programming it, but when you play any video only can play the first few frames and then it get stacked but the timeline still running. when you pause the timeline, the preview shows the right frame. i tried a few codecs as h264, hap, mp4, avi. I tried different sizes. when the clip is small like 512x512 it plays correctly. I tried to do some tweaking with the tweaking guide but not all beacuase i want to use
I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind framerate choices, mostly because I receive so many different ones such as 30, 29.97, 25 and the one that is the most perplexing, 23.98. I know WO can play this different frame rates and filmmakers like the idea that they are matching the frame rate and stutter of old-school film (celluloid) and they will get the same look if played back at 23.98 Is it better to film at 23.98 and output playback files (HAP-Q) for WO at 30fps? Is there any real advantage to achieving a film look or is this a myth handed around? Will there be any sync issues i
