1080i/50 or 1080i/60 With Blackmagic Design DeckLink Mini Monitor

Recommended Posts

actually I have Mini recorder not Monitor. its 720p/50 is working fine. 1080i/50 is not work..

Can you see it in media express on the display machine? First try changing the settings there. Also try 1080i/25 in both Media Express and Watchout.

Hi guys is there any problem running the LED wall on 30hz? instead standard 60hz? what will be the difference? the reason we want to do it to achieve more resolution...

thank you..

WATCHOUT has no problem with 30 Hz,

just change the setting in File - Preferences - General Display Framerate to Custom and type in 30.

(acceptable frame rates are 24 to 120).

Of course, the hardware must be able to provide 30hz progressive

and confirm that in the EDID data,

most modern GPUs can handle that.

Be prepared to try with PASSIVE DP-DVI adapters, instead of the active ones.

Only time I've used 3 units of Watchpax 2 outputting to a large LED wall with China-made LinSn Sending Cards that were set to 30Hz, the passive adapters were the only ones that worked well.
