Lawrence
Hi, I want to use Asus 6970 to run 6x 1280x800 or 4x 1920x1200 videos, and because of maintenance and stability issue, I would like to use HP Z620 workstation (gives more power), now they all use Xeon E5 series processor, anyone knows which processor is fitted for this application? Is there any guideline? Multi-threads, cache, clock speed, QPI, what are the specs which really matters? Regards, Lawrence
pencenk
what does the advantage of using windows 7 Home Premium? How about windows 7 Ultimate?
Moderator jfk Posted May 9, 2015 Moderator Report Share Posted May 9, 2015 The advantage is Win 7 HP has everything that is needed by WATCHOUT. Ultimate has everything, and more, so you must take extra care to disable as much of the "more" as possible. i.e. the extra money spent on Ultimate gets you nothing, and adds to the chance of getting it wrong. That said, we use Win 7 Professional, and its only advantage is it lets you change the Windows serial number after cloning, where I do not think Home Premium allows that.
Dataton Partner ken Posted May 13, 2015 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted May 13, 2015 Win 7 Ultimate supports multiple languages, useful if your Watchout PC will be used by a foreign language user.
