Member Brian Posted January 13, 2023 Member Report Share Posted January 13, 2023 I often get videos in two parts and have to play them back to back. I place them on my timeline and put them together. Seems like it should just play as one seamless video But: This almost always results in WatchOUT dropping a frame and showing black before the next video starts. Stepping through the timeline as slowly as possible doesn't show any black. Its only during playback... How do I prevent this?
Ali Serdar Gulseren
The HAP codec will work best for you. Pay attention to the track value when creating video with the HAP codec. Also, a high-speed PCIe SSD is required. Make sure your video card driver and processor are not in power saving mode.
artboy
I think the black frame is seen in a short moment when the media file is uploaded to the buffer. Turn off the automatic pre-roll setting in the second content setting and manually enter the time to test. The two contents must be located on different layers.

Alex Ramos
Could it be that the original file is temporaly compressed, mpeg, and a black frame is coming from the middle of the GOP!
