Need help - BIG show - WO 7.3.1

I am racking my brain here.  I have 4 boxes and strange situations with a few of them:

-  1 will not change any of the displays to become active.

-  Another is showing up as a node but shows none of the services icons and won't change display mode either.

- Some boxes have no problem changing display mode to on.

I have ensured the following:

-  Licenses in all boxes

-  Custom resolutions match the actual resolution on the GPU output.

-  Frame rates are the same all outputs

-  All boxes have WO7 installed, SE version and all Windows settings configured the same.

This is frustrating, I really don't want to have to revert to WO6 to get this going but these issues have never appeared in that version and may have to.

Help please, thanks!

Could be many reasons. Most probably related to hardware or network.

I would try to connect one server to the producer and check whether this works. Then swap this server with a second server and try again.

How did you set the servers up? Using an image to set up all others from that?

If all work separately, the problem could be in your network (more than one server with the same address or name).

If all are cloned from one image, this could also be a reason. I've not seen it myself but heard from a client about some issues with cloning. If I remember right, WATCHOUT was installed before creating the image which then lead to the same UUID of the nodes after cloning.

I ran into a similar issue when adding a new server to a running system.  Producer saw the new server but I could not get runner started on it.  I finally had to shut down Producer and exit/restart Manager in order to get runner started on the new server.

Thanks for the suggestions they have all been tuned individually since they are extremely similar mobos, but not the exact same.  Chipset, components and GPUs are the same though.  Used the windows 10 tuning guide to a T.  Unfortunately I had to revert to version 6.7.2 because I had to get something going for this show.  That got everything up and running fine except one machine was displaying HAP files mostly full white and light pink, but that's another story.

To be honest I have yet to run a version 7 show with any level of complexity beyond using a few outputs on the same server I am running producer on.  It's getting quite frustrating.

Thanks Jim, I'll give that a shot when the show is over and I have the gear back at home base.

Just to share my personal experience with setting up a show with multiple (or even one) display-node = It became common practice to have to reset services on the nodes or perform a reboot just to get things properly starting. Not each time, but as soon as one of the symptoms you describe occurred, it was easily fixed with named steps. May I assume you did the same?
