artboy
I've heard from somewhere before that adding wo7 licenses to the server (so if I plug in a total of 2 licenses), the pixel limit will be lifted. It doesn't work when I actually try it. Can I lift the pixel limit per WO7 server?
Moderator jfk Posted September 11 Moderator Report Share Posted September 11 Incorrect. A second license on a WATCHOUT 7 display server will NOT change the pixel limits. Consider the processing load for five times 4K and it really does not make a whole lot of sense to exceed that.
Dataton Partner Popular Post RBeddig Posted September 11 Dataton Partner Popular Post Report Share Posted September 11 The limit is actually 8x 4K (70.778.880 px) right now.
Member MrJeongmok Byun Posted September 11 Member Report Share Posted September 11 I've seen this before, but it doesn't apply now, does it?

A lot has changed since last October, during the early release cycle, prior to public release. And as Rainer indicates, it continues to change, I was told the 5x 4K in March iirc. 32 HD outputs from a single WATCHOUT server, how times have changed.

WO6 is currently using more than that output. 45 minutes ago, RBeddig said: The limit is actually 8x 4K (70.778.880 px) right now. 8x4k is a different situation. I need this much output from one server.

Moderator jfk Posted September 11 Moderator Report Share Posted September 11 The increase to eight (8) x 4K limitation (70 778 880 pixels) occurred on 25-March-2024 with the release of version 7.1.2. I am embarrassed I missed that fact. 😖
