What is the best practice to pause a timeline with multiple clips without stuttering?
We invested in WATCHOUT 6 and are defining our production workflow now.
One of the main problems we are encountering is that we can't pause a timeline without getting some stuttering frames at the end.
One clip doesn't make a problem, but if the timeline contains multiple clips, all the clips seem to stutter when a pause command is given.
We initially used H264, but are now using MPEG2 for a massive reduction of the cpu workload (while HAP would raise our disk setup costs too much).
They are encoded with I-frames only, so there shouldn't be any seeking to the nearest I-frame.
Thanks for your info.

Did a test with HAP Q, the problem is still there, but less visible.
Pausing the timeline results in only one frame that is coming behind after a fraction of a second.
