I am adding interactive graphics to an existing Watchout setup running synchronized immersive video on 30 or more projectors. I would like to render interactive realtime generated graphics on top of the Watchout video on one of the machines and maintain sync with the rest of the machines. I realize I could render Unreal on a standalone pc with an NDI with alpha output, and then overlay it on synchronized video on another machine that is equipped to handle the layering, however that introduces the compression of NDI and extra hardware. Is it possible to render the video inside Unreal as a background layer and somehow maintain sync with the rest of the system?
