  1. This is all ok up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 px. At the moment there are still no chipsets (semtech.com) that work in 10-bit depth for higher resolutions such as UHD or 4k. LYNXTechnik AG is developing a so called greenMachine series of converters callisto, titan a.s.o.

  2. The realtime rendering capabilities of WO are a big value. So I think it is important being able to connect external sensors such as the Source Audio Hot Hand which is just about 100,- €.

    For connecting a professional system as BlackTrax someone should write a program that translates their protocol (RTTrPM = Real Time Tracking Protocol for Motion) into the WO generic input control protocol. This might be "fairly simple". Their protocol is open source:

  3. Use a MIDI interface for the production/display PC. Use a MIDI interface for the iPad. If your hardware controller has only USB, use a MIDI USB Host. Connet the two MIDI Outputs to a MIDI Merger. Connect the Merger wich MIDI IN of the MIDI interface for the WO Computer. See attached images.

  4. Having a first look through v6.

     

    As a complete novice in mapping as opposed to multiscreen, what software are you all using to create your 3D meshes in V6?

     

    Also what is a standard practice for say importing a model of a building/architectural structure to create content? I have my theories, but would be nice to get a bit of advise from someone who has experience with this already.

    I myself have started experiencing with Blender and Sketchup. The standard practice for importing a 3D model and using it for content creation is explained inthe videos
