Beimer Posted May 18, 2011 Report Share Posted May 18, 2011 I'm testing the Motu Traveler MK3 firewire audio device with Watchout. I've installed all the drivers, the MOTU seems to be working fine with Windows 7 64-bit, and Steinberg's Nuendo 5. When I openWatchout 4.3 production software, and inport a 8 channel test file that was given to me, I get an error "Directshow media error", and no audio will play. Everything I've read in the Watchout manual and everything I've been told by Motu tech support tells me this should work. Sonar, another audio software, uses Motu WDM drivers just fine, and some of the plugins they use are directx. There's no issues. Has anyone had experience with the Motu Traveler MK3 and Watchout? Any tricks I need to be aware of? Is there another Motu, or alternate device that people have had success with? Installation is fast approaching, so any input would be greatly appreciated.
