Popular Post Andrei Filippov
Hi I encountered an issue while running WATCHOUT 7 on my MacbookPro 16 2019 (Intel i9 CPU and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M version). My laptop has Windows 10 installed natively, which I run using the Apple BootCamp service. The technical recommendations on Dataton website indicate that GPU required API is Vulkan 1.3 for Producer software. The settings of my AMD GPU drivers indicate "Vulkan Driver Version - 2.0.204" and "Vulkan API Version 1.2.196" Since the latest official version of AMD Boot Camp drivers released at the moment does not support Vulkan API 1.3 https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/apple-boot-camp (I really hope they fix this later). This means that I cannot run WATCHOUT 7 on my MacBook Pro out of the box. But I still managed to do it, so I want to share it with you, maybe it will be useful to someone else. I used a third-party GPU driver from the Bootcampdrivers project https://www.bootcampdrivers.com (all procedures you are done at one's own risk). The bottom line is that they adapt the latest drivers from AMD, adding support for video adapters installed on Mac computers. Thus, I updated the driver and received support for Vulkan API 1.3 Now I can run WATCHOUT 7 on my Mac. Best Regards
