getStatus command return error in WATCHOUT 7

Recommended Posts

Hi

While we were testing WATCHOUT 7, we encountered a problem where "getStatus" command return "Error 7 0 Unrecognized command" error.  We were using the command the same way in WATCHOUT 6 without problem and the documentation didn't mention there were change about that.

Can you please help with that?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The folder feature has not been implemented for the getStatus command in the legacy protocol, as it has been decided it was a hidden feature.
The valid query for this command for now is:

getStatus 0  - disable status subscription

getStatus 1  - enable status subscription

getStatus 2   - oneshot status

This issue is however added to the backlog and might be reintroduced in a future version.

Thanks for your quick response.

Unfortunately, this issue actually break our software and block us from integrating to WATCHOUT 7.

Is there an alternative API in WATCHOUT 7 that behave like the getStatus API in WATCHOUT 6?

Is it possible to add this feature back to WATCHOUT 7?

I would appreciates a lot if we can schedule a private call and allow me to explain more about our product and the issues on integrating to WATCHOUT 7.

Thank you
