RTTrPM Packet Format: Protobuf?

I see that Watchout supports RTTrPM (yay!). I would like to write custom software that will send real-time tracking data to Watchout using RTTrPM (I am using a custom tracking system).

On the RTTrPM website, there is mention of "Packet Format" which can be one of: "0x00 (Raw), 0x01 (Protobuf), 0x02 (Thrift)".

I am interested in the Protobuf format as my project is already using Protobuf. Does anyone know if Watchout can receive RTTrPM data in the Protobuf format? If so, is there a ".proto" file somewhere for the RTTrPM protocol?

Thanks!
