isdzaurov
Good afternoon everyone. I'm studying Wathout for training I'm wondering how can I stream video from other programs in the WATCHOUT? For example, use Spout or something like that. I would like to create a generative graphics in another program and transfer it to the watch out.\ Thanks
Yousefjuma
From WO 6.2 onward you can stream over network using NDI. For us we use capture cards (Datapath or blackmagic) to input video from other PC into WO.
Erik Rönnqvist
NDI should be the simplest and cheapest solution, as it requires no extra hardware. Download the NDI tools from NewTek and you can do screen capture, generate test patterns etc, that can be displayed in Watchout. The NDI tools also includes a VLC plugin, making it possible to stream any content VLC can play over the network using NDI. /Erik
Moderator Miro Posted December 14, 2017 Moderator Report Share Posted December 14, 2017 You can use Spout to NDI or Syphon to NDI if use want to get output from mac applications..
