Ben ross
Having trouble getting watchpax to output to xvga (1024×768) projectors. We're using crestron transmitters that are HDbaseT into projectors. They are good to 4k. I seems like the display port to HDMI adapter might be the problem. We tried passive and active and 1.2 and 1.4 and can't get them to work. Theres one old adapter that works that we borrowed. Need 5! No markings on it. Not sure how to trouble shoot this one. Thanks for reading.
Dataton Partner RBeddig Posted April 2, 2019 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted April 2, 2019 Could be an EDID issue. Have you tried using a physical EDID minder behind the graphic card output? XVGA is not that common anymore today and the graphic card usually tries the highest and fastest EDID it can see. Ideally you'd use an EDID minder which you can set to only one frequency through dip-switches or software.
