dwvabeach
Hello, I am configuring a setup that is using multidisplay outputs on Windows 7 and running Watchout 5.1. Is it possible to use the three ports of the AMD Radeon 6570 to display Watchout on three projectors at the same time? The projectors only have DVI inputs on them so I would be using the display port adapters and a straight DVI cable to connect to the projectors. I tried it with the Display port adapters and cables that I have and when I connect everything, one of the projectors goes dark every time I connect a third cable to the card. Is it that the card doesn't support three connections at once, or do they have to be Active as suggested in another post? I read in another post something about having to use Active Display port converters if you are using a Legacy port type. Would this be a case where I would need to purchase Active Display Port to DVI converters as opposed to the general ones that came with the card? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, David W.
Jonas Dannert
Yes, you'll need ACTIVE DisplayPort to DVI adapters for this to work. And HD6750 is to low spec for this, in my view, please use HD6850/6870/6950/6970 or HD7850/7870/7950/7970 instead. /jonas
