John G Posted August 11, 2021 Report Share Posted August 11, 2021 Hi all Hoping that someone can help. I'm trying to install Micsoft 6 on a DOS 6.2 laptop. I put the floppy in and run setup pick option 3 to install on HDD & pick the English option. Setup runs & says installed then go to hard drive and hit Micsoft Problem is that when I do this every time I get the following error "I/O init error: 05" I have no idea why or how to fix this any help will be greatly appreciated.
