RICCARDOCAGNASSO
I'm playing with 3d projector mapping. I want to map earth on a ball. I got my media files, imported a sphere object in watchout then tried to map a texture to it. I get no error message but the texture doesn't show up in the preview nor in the projector view. 3d-model.3ds
Dataton Partner RBeddig Posted July 24 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted July 24 The model file seems to be fine. Which WATCHOUT version are you using?

Dataton Partner RBeddig Posted July 25 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted July 25 I tried your object with WO 6.7.2 yesterday. No problem at all. To bind textures to it, click onto the 3d-model.3ds cue in the timeline and then, without deselecting this cue, drag the texture asset from the media window and drop it on the model (white area) in the stage window. Of course, you can also drag a virtual screen onto the model to apply dynamic textures. There are a few videos on 3D in WATCHOUT 6 here: https://www.dataton.com/training/academy-training-videos
RICCARDOCAGNASSO
It seems that the texture is actually applied but doesn't fit the sphere correctly.
Dataton Partner RBeddig Posted July 26 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted July 26 There seems to be something wrong with your model. a) it seems to have a rather high count of triangles b) the origin is not in the models center c) the UV mesh seems to be wrong The left "Earth" is our 3D model, we use for the Academy trainings. The other is yours. The virtual screen is attached to both models. Earth.3ds
