Boudu
Hi. I'm creating a Watchout show that is to be displayed on seventeen flat screen displays at various resolutions, rotations and screen sizes, creating a random tiling effect. Within this I will have, for example, a 40" screen at 1920 x 1080 and a 32" screen also at 1920 x 1080. How do I set up the stage preview so that the apparent sizes match the real sizes? Presently, when I create new displays at the required resolution, they both appear to be the same physical size. Ralph.
Jonas Dannert
Hi Ralph, Use Stage Position and Size. in the Display preferences (P145 WO4 manual/P151 WO5 manual) Determines the position and dimension of the display in the Stage Window. Normally, the dimension here matches the physical resolution of the display. You can override this by deselecting “Width and Height same as Display Resolution”, allowing you to enter different values. Doing so will make WATCHOUT scale the image to match the resolution.
Boudu
Thanks. I saw that option, was worried that it might affect the resolution out put on that monitor. Ralph.
