On Android world, Google Play offers something similar.
"LTC Timecode Generator" comes in two flavors:
- one free version that generates only 24, 25 and 30 fps TC locked at time of day
- one pay (just 5 €) full version with start time and user bit selection, adding 23.976 and 29.97 for DF and NDF.

@Jonas and JFK
Why do you state that Datapath is needed for 3G-SDI (1080p50 or 1080p59.97)?
Blackmagic DeckLink 4K Extreme can do the same with half the cost.
And the Blacmagic is not limited at FullHD as the Datapath, being able to deal with 4K resolution too (up to 4096x2160p25 and p30), altough it seems nobody here tested if 4K capture is working inside Watchout.

Trust me, the clip you attached is not a real 3d mapping.
It is just a film rendered by a 3d suite, never been projected on any transparent (LOL!) surface.
Youtube is full of fake mapping projections...

I agree with you that h264 should be quite the same into .mp4 or .mov container, but I have experienced so many times .mov files that show just the first 10 - 20 frames and then freeze in WO display.
Just re-encoded in .mp4 files, they work perfectly.
Next time I will send one.

Svetlana, what is the software you use to encode your movies?
H264 .mov often fails on watchout.
H264 .mp4 files are rock solid instead.

The issue with audacity is that it don't put channels assigment tags into metadata.
Channell shifter fix it.
Just take a look with mediainfo at the wav file before and after channelshifter and you'll see the difference.

Set a default gateway address just on one NIC (it can be a fake address too).
Broadcast packets will be routed on that NIC.

@JFK
That is the limit of the single output of the graphic board.
We are discussing about video content size.

I have put my limit to 4K standard 4096 x 2160.
Never had problems whithin.
I encountered problems and instability as soon as width crossed the 4096 boundaries.
I will now investigate 4096 x 4096.

Up to 4096 in width.
And height?
Up to 2160 or more?

did you use it @ 4k resolution?I used them on two Shows until now. No Problems!

Are BlackMagic DeckLink 4K Extreme capture cards reported working on Watchout?

Uhh, MiniDisplayPort and DisplayPort are both the same as it relates to active adaptor / passive adaptor use.
Very possibly the nVidia card has the needed extra support for the MDP/DP to work without an active adaptor
and three or more ports lit up, but that is not related to the DP connection type.
I know that ATi cards with DisplayPort still need the active adaptor when more that two ports are used.
It stops working when two DVI outputs are used by the non-MDP/DP outputs.
On ATi, the same MDP/DP port will work with a passive adaptor when two or less ports are used,
so testing with pasive adaptors needs at least three ports lit up to be a valid test on ATi.
Did you test the passive DP->DVI-D adaptor on nVidia with all ports lit up?
nVidia's info on this, How To Setup NVIDIA Surround on GeForce 600 Series GPUs
makes no mention of active/passive adaptors.
Double checked. All 4 ports connected (2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DP) to DVI displays using passive adapter. It works!
IMHO, active adapters are an AMD/ATi only issue.
Tested a couple of WatchPAX providing a single ATI mini-DP. No active adapter, no party!

I have tested an Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 driving four Watchout displays.
It works perfectly.
It has 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x DP (NOT mini-DP); so no need of active adapters.
