I NEED TO PROJECT A MOVIE ON A SPECIAL SHAPE WALL, TO MAKE GEOMETRIC CHANGES AND THEN TO RENDER THE MOVIE WITH THE CHANGES. CAN I DO IT WITH WATCHOUT?

the client sent me 8 second 827 mb prores file.

i uploaded it on my system (watchout 6) and the movie is not smooth.

i saw the watchout suppose to support prores files. is there a specific definition or it is hardware problem ?

I have a project coming up for which we need to project 6 computer dvi in sync.

I want to use 2 computers with datapath vision hd4 capture card.

we use projectors and we need to edge blend them.

each computer with 3 inputs and outputs.

 

will it work ? do I need a specific computer configuration ?

I have a movie with 10 different subtitles - according to the audience .

is it possible to show srt subtitle file along with the movie instead of implement the subtitle on the movie and save 10 movies that the only difference is the subtitle ?

[problem with multi channel audio]

hi,

 

I have a project with 6 audio channels. I got 3 stereo files and used the channelshifter to have 1 file for the rear and 1 file for the center / sub.

I get everything in place - but after I re launch the watchout, all the sounds goes to the front speakers,

if I go to the audio configurations on the player and change it from 5.1 to 7.1 ( or the opposite ) - I get the 6 channels again in place until the next re launch or restart.

 

I work with 5.5.2, but it happened also with the 5.5.1 . the production is on win 8.1 laptop.

I tried uninstall and reinstall the sound drivers on the player, but it didn't help.

 

any suggestion ?

just to update - I checked the same file with win 7 and it doesn't give me an error in production.

also if I open the file with channelshifter and change the audio channels it doesn't give me an error

 

hope the 5.5.2 will solve this problem.

I just replaced my laptop and using production with win8

everything worked fine until I got a multichannel wav file. the file opens well in the channelshifter software, but when I put it on the timeline is gives me this error :

operating system error:614 ; directshow media error

 

what can I do to solve this?

another thing. i use hdmi outputs. after shutting down the projectors and turning back on the software crashes because the screens are lost.

is there any way to avoid this?

i want to use the enableLayerCon command and it works fine, but i don't get a feedback to know 

that my command has passed .

i have a project with a 12x4 meter 3d model up to 30 cm height difference .

i'm suppose to use 5-6 1280x800 projectors with edge blending.

what is the best way to do this ? i see a problem with the edge blend between projectors on a 3d surface.
