bgarrett
Hello, I have a question about keeping the display computers and production computer up to date on software. Right now I am running version 5.5.1 on all the computers. And when I updated WO to 5.5.1 I also updated the computer's software and bios, including Quicktime, like is instructed in the tweak list. Everything seems to be running fine. But I noticed that I don't have the latest version of Quicktime now and I noticed the computers need a Bios update along with a few other computer updates. I was curious what the standard practice is for updating the computers. I assume I should try and keep everthing up to date, but sometimes I feel when the computers and WO are working fine I should just leave them as is. Any thoughts. Thanks, Brent
Jonas Dannert
Well, I usually stick to "don't fix what's already working", if not having any issues with a properly running system. If I start updating, I see to that I have time to fix any issues that might come from that update. My 2 cents, /jonas
