Tyskern
I've written a post on this before and gotten a 'No you can't do that'-answer. But on a Watchout seminar a month ago the topic came up again and the Dataton-guy said 'Yes-you can'. He grew a bit hesitant when I asked for details, but hope details can be found at the forum. Down to business. The issue is how to control a projector through the watchpax. Many projectors have RS232 control, so I would very much like to use an usb->rs232 device to control power/shutter of projector. Is it true this is now possible? If yes.. Which usb-rs232 device is supported? Is there some firmware that needs to be updated?? Hoping for a more positive answer this time. janbreel
With Watchpax 1 you couldn't, with Watchpax 2 you can use a USB to serial converter. this model works: http://www.aten.com/products/productItem.php?model_no=UC232A#.VJAO_cnpXZQ Jan
Tyskern
Thanks for the reply. I only have version #1 unfortunately.. Is there no sw-update or such available to make it work with watchpax01?
