avdavesound
Hi, is there any plans in the future for Watchout to receive motion control data and interface with tween tracks (i.e Kinesys K2 data) Thanks
Martin Pfeifer
Of course WO can receive motion control data. Use the industry-standard protocols TCP/IP, MIDI, DMX-512 or serial data communication. It is just a thing of "interface-thinking".
Mike Fahl
Yes, motion tracjing has been used quite a lot in theater applications, using scenery tracking and automation systems. As long as you can get the signal and translate it into a format WATCHOUT understands, it's very doable. Note that the TCP/IP option gives better precision than MIDI or DMX, due to the limited numerical resolution commonly supported by those standards (14 bit for MIDI and 16 bit for DMX).
