Myngus
Hi, sorry if this is a duplicate post. Can't find exactly what I'm looking for. My WO Display servers have FireProW9100 cards. I'm often using expensive DVI routers to essentially do the job of multiple 2 way DA's. (splitting each output to local monitor and to display device). In an effort to save cost and complexity, I'm wondering if I could use multiple MST Hubs as 2 way DA's. (a lot cheaper than actual DA's) I read somewhere that you can set the GFX card to make each mst hub mirror instead of extend. I'm not sure if this would work once I get up to 6 WO outputs. I'm thinking it might show up as 12 outputs (or just not work). Has anyone tried this? cheers.
Myngus
I've answered my own question by testing it. I can only get 6 displays, total. Doesn't matter if they are mirrored or extended. 6 seems to be the max. So if i'm mirroring, then I can only use 3 physical ports. cheers.

JJ Myers
We use these: http://www.avenview.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1265_1292&zenid=agevjksi3p62bsfiiga2rh6gb2 They can do 3840x1080, but not full 4K. They work very well though and are not very expensive.
