piccinaezio
Hi, we use for our Watchout computers the AMD WX9100, sometimes one screen goes black for few seconds without any reason. Have anyone experienced the same? Did you fix it? Thanks
Member mindopera Posted July 2, 2019 Member Report Share Posted July 2, 2019 What Operating system are you using on the production computers and how many outputs are you using at what resolution?
Myngus
Not specifically that problem, but always seem to have issues with these cards . I get green flashes when I attach them to Imagepros, or Lightware routers. w series was fine, but WX seems to be temperamental.
nicb
Hi piccinaezio, which kind of signal connection and adapters [e.g. DP-DVI, DP-HDMI] you are using? We're having such trouble with DeLOCK Adapter DisplayPort 1.2 mal > DVI female 4K Active black [DeLOCK item no. 62599] on AMD WX7100 whenever using 50Hz and/or Custom Formats. Just as with attached [onto DP-DVI adapter] DVI-HDMI adapters. Same-same with DeLOCK Adapter mini DisplayPort 1.2 mal > DVI female 4K Active black [DeLOCK item no. 62603] on WX9100. We're able to troubleshoot these behavior while using the ”original” ATI/Sapphire Active DisplayPort (M) to Single-Link DVI adapter on WX7100 and ATI/Sapphire Active mini DisplayPort (M) to Single-Link DVI adapter on WX9100. Nowadays it's quite a big deal is to find and purchase these adapters. Sapphire has stopped the distribution and won't deliver them with Radeon Pro Cards anymore. There where some OEMs in the market, but they're hard to find as well. Unfortunately it's not that easy to bypassing DVI in total. There's life in the old dog yet. 😉 As a side note: No matter of Signal Sink [e.g. NOVA MCTRL660 (DVI-in), different projectors [DVI-in], different displays and so on]. No matter of OS [Win 7 Pro 64bit; Win 10 Pro 1607/1703/1709/1903 64bit; Win 10 LTSB/LTSC 2016/2019 64bit] nor AMD driver [17Q4.1/18Q4.1/19Q2.1]. In addition, as of now, we've nothing but trouble while using any other AMD Driver as 17Q4.1, no matter of combination of OS/Driver. Kind regards Nic

Kind regards Nic We already tried using official AMD adapters but we have the same issue, we also tried Lindy's active cables Mini-DisplayPort -> DVI-D. No matter what adapters, OSs, driver version we use.
