UnitCone
Hi everybody I'm receiving a message all the times I start WO Production on a new MSI Stealth 15M Laptop, the message says: "Your computer's graphic card does not meet minimum system requirements (can't convert from UYVY)" This is the first time I see this message on a Production PC and I don't really think it is about "minimum requirements" but compatibility. (also I'm not sure about UYVY convertion, what is it about? first time I hear this) here are the specs: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop Driver version 511.65 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1280P 15.7 GB AM 1920 x 1080 144 Hz The software seems to work properly, codecs are ok, I can play smooth almost any video format in the preview window. Many thanks
Moderator jfk Posted March 15, 2023 Moderator Report Share Posted March 15, 2023 This issue may arise on systems with both a motherboard gpu and a discrete gpu like your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. Find the WIndows settings for graphics and set the display settings to use the nVidia RTX card for WATCHOUT

The reason is the default gpu has insufficient resources. The setting to change depends on the gpus in your setup. For example, a laptop with an Asus motherboard, an Intel processor with onboard Intel graphics and an nVidia performance gpu, the setting to change is in the nVidia Control Panel - Manage 3D settings - Program Settings.
Deepak Singh Bisht
Do these settings need to be set on the display server?
Moderator jfk Posted August 20 Moderator Report Share Posted August 20 The settings should be set on any server that shows the error message. Display servers typically only have one high performance 3D GPU, so there is no setting like this. The only time i have seen multiple GPUs is on a laptop or a low end small form factor system.

If it does have a second gpu, see above.
