Watchout 7 by default used internal 16bit processing for still images (or video if the codecs would allow it). The “use maximum render quality” checkbox now changes the internal rendering quality of WO from 11bit to 16bit. The checkbox was introduced since lower end hardware wasn’t capable and therefor, just to be safe, it’s off by default. If your hardware is up to the task (like with the wp62 series) you can / should enable it to enable 16bit rendering. For the actual output, currently it doesn’t really make sense, since most workflows top out at 12-bpc, at best. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
