kkimsato
I am doing a Dome projection ...Wondering if anyone more input than what I found on the forum. The media for the side walls seems pretty straight forward. Any does or don't about creating media for the top of the dome, that seem a bit more sticky. The content is earth (wheat fields, Mountains, Sky and Water scenes) Details the dome is 50ft 5 or 6 projectors (10K) Is 4:3 or 16:9 ratio better for the top of the dome projector ? Thank you for your post. Kim
Jonas Dannert
I'll suggest a thorough read of this earlier topic, by Fredrik Svahnberg: http://forum.dataton.com/topic/52-dome-and-globe-projection/?do=findComment&comment=264 Getting the projector right is just the beginning, you'll need a camera-based autocalibration system to make this work properly. The content creation process is also completely different from flat or curved screen setups, too. Content for "flat" screen setups will not look good on these kind of setups. /jonas
