klikwawan
Can I use Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder for Capture Card in Notebook Watchout Display? It will be realtime live or delay? Thanks
Jonas Dannert
No, don't think so. And USB will inevitably cause more delay than a native (PCIe) capture card. /jonas
Dataton Partner Walter Posted April 25, 2013 Dataton Partner Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 We use these a lot. As recorders obviously, not for live capture display. It's a hardware encoder, only driving h264 into the USB port (with a selectable bandwidth up to 20mbit). Totally unusable for live situations, having approx 6 to 8 seconds delay. But superb in encoding h264, works like a charm. Just test properly, because wrong firmware results in strange sync drifts...
