  1. Hi all. Thanks for the input. I'm aware of the Economy mode, which is set to OFF, or it won't use the network port at all. And this.. 'timeout-issue' occurs even when Toolkit is not running. So that should mean only one connection? Still scratching my beard going hmmm. Interesting this about closing the network connection Thomas, I'll check with Barco. Timing looks to close for a coincidence... I'll go back and triple check everything, + trying to send the string from i.e. light desk. Just to try to narrow it down.
  2. Hi all. I've been trying to control my Barco RLM-W12's via IP from Watchout. Creating an output, using port 43680, I can make triggers to power on, open/close shutter etc. At first glance this seems to work fine. Projectors respond fine and does what its told. However, it stops working, and I get error messages stating that command was not sent. I've been trying to find a.. regularity of it, and so far I can say that if I wait for about 1 minute without sending a string to projector, then it will stop responding. I will then also loose connection with the W12 from Barco's Projector Toolkit. If I then delete the projector from Toolkit, add it via scan, I will regain control. Then I can also switch back to Watchout and IP strings will work again.. If I would send a string every, say 45 seconds, I can keep going forever (it seems..), but thats not going to be done in reality. This is plugged directly from laptop to projector, no switches in between. I don't know if this is a barco issue or a watchout issue, or a bit of both maybe. Do I need to setup the network in some special way ? Does anyone have experience with this? or share a similar problem? and hopefully a solution? Kind regards Torbjørn Ljunggren
  3. Some (or maybe all) of these request may have been posted before, hard to find out. But I'll give it a try anyhow. #1 A function to ‘Fit All displays’ in Stage window. and a scale option more flexible than 2/4/8/16.. scale to fit?? #2 Snap to/go to next/previous keyframe. preferably with a hotkey. #3 Ability to make an exact numerical input of a tween without having a keyframe. #4 Slowmotion? It does not have to be a perfect one, an ability to test something in i.e. half speed to decide the tempo. And then i can render it in another software later.. #5 Ctrl-T Click jumps to time to be OFF by default, or at least an option to turn it off by default. #6 An option to have darker interface colours. -I work with stage shows, in dark rooms, and especially the timeline window really lights up the auditorium..
  4. Thanks for the reply. I only have version #1 unfortunately.. Is there no sw-update or such available to make it work with watchpax01?
  5. I've written a post on this before and gotten a 'No you can't do that'-answer. But on a Watchout seminar a month ago the topic came up again and the Dataton-guy said 'Yes-you can'. He grew a bit hesitant when I asked for details, but hope details can be found at the forum. Down to business. The issue is how to control a projector through the watchpax. Many projectors have RS232 control, so I would very much like to use an usb->rs232 device to control power/shutter of projector. Is it true this is now possible? If yes.. Which usb-rs232 device is supported? Is there some firmware that needs to be updated?? Hoping for a more positive answer this time. Torbjørn
  6. Thank you for the input. system tweaking did it. and audio output now working properly. T
  7. Hi. I have a display computer with a 4xscreen output, using Nvidia NVS 510 and a juli@ sound card, balanced output. now.. sound card is outputting audio fine in windows. though the juli@ card. production laptop is playing the audio fine through its internal speakers. so far so good. but when I go 'online' to make watchout output the audio through the juli@ card, then WO crashes and freezes on the boot screen, (wo logo screen). Watchout v5.5.1, audiofile is wav, also tried mp3. The audio files are not corrupt.. Any ideas? need more info? please Thanks Torbjørn
  8. actually 2 questions. Has anyone had any experience with the Hauppauge Impact video cards? its a 4x composite input card, but so far I'm only able to get it to display one camera feed. Anyone here used it to get four feeds at once? second question I'm setting up a system with 4xDVIoutputs. Now several cards have this number of outputs, but are there preferences in what watchout works best with? regards Torbjørn
  9. Hi. I want to control the shutter of my projector (panasonic dw6300) via rs232 in WO. This all works good with a desktop pc, but for this project I want to use the watchpax. Now this does not have a rs232 port, so can I use an usb-rs232 adapter? Would it work with any converter or are any specific supported? I'm assuming I can't install any drivers etc. on the pax.. does this work at all?
