ssmctech
Hi! I'm having issues with Watchout 5.5.2. Installed it on fresh, clean Windows 7 machines. After putting the Watchout show online both of the display machines download the show then come up with an error message "Watchout display software has stopped working". Looking at the Even Viewer I see errors with ehtrace.dll when that happens. Did anybody come across a similar issue? Not sure where to start troubleshooting.
Mike Fahl
Disable Windows Media Center (NOT Windows Media Player). You may also want to look at other settings in the "tweak list" found on this forum. Mike

ssmctech
Excellent! It's working now. Thank you for help! Can the Tweaking list be included in the Users Guide?
Moderator jfk Posted March 24, 2015 Moderator Report Share Posted March 24, 2015 The tweaking is a bit too fluid to "bake in" to the WATCHOUT User Guide. Guess it would not hurt to point people to the Dataton WATCHOUT Forum for additional technical information.
ssmctech
Might be a good idea to at least include the bit about disabling Windows 7 Media Center as that stops Watchout 5.5 from running at all. That took me totally by surprise. I thought there was something wrong with my computers.
