Neil Stratton
Hi guys-got an urgent need.I have a show of 3x1920 displays but the processors on the walls I am am using are only happy with 1366 x 768.Is there a trick to scale a whole show? Thanks Neil
Fredrik Svahnberg
Yes, the trick is called "composition". Select All cues and paste them into a new composition. Apply scaling to the composition cue. Best regards, Fredrik Svahnberg Dataton
Neil Stratton
Thanks Fredrik.I finally remembered the comp trick but in the end I insisted that the cables be replaced and was able to get show resolution to the wall.A monumental waste of two hours. Thanks for the reply. Something I keep noticing is that it seems difficult to search old posts. I remember this solution from before but couldnt find it by searching. Occasionally I get results but usually I cant find a discussion even though I know for certain it is in there.
Jonas Dannert
Another way might be to use Pixel density scaling in the Display and switch each of them to 1366x768? Less re-programming that way... /jonas P159 in the manual: Stage Position and Size. Determines the position and dimension of the display in the Stage Window. Normally, the dimension here matches the phys- ical resolution of the display. You can override this by deselecting “Width and Height same as Display Resolution”, allowing you to enter different values. Doing so will make WATCHOUT scale the image to match the resolution. ◆ HINT: This is particularly useful if you have to play a show made for a specific resolution on projectors that can’t handle that resolution.
