  1. Further question: I was able to get into the theatre and put the 3D projectors and convergence to the test. The first problem is where the projectors overlap on center line are not converging on either plane. Do I need to do geometry correction to align these like I would in WO5 or with 2D screens? Maybe there is a better way to do this setup with out a 3D model and 3D projectors in WO6? Here is a photo of the stage. file:///Users/JosephABurke/Desktop/IMG_4115.JPG Thanks, Joe
  2. 2 questions for working in 3D space and Mapping in Watchout... 1- I am working with 2 - 3D walls and I am wondering if there is a precise way to set the distance between the walls in the 3D stage window of Watchout? Currently it looks like the units are pixels? Is there a specific pixels per foot that the stage window is calculating? 2- With these two walls I want to be able to map to the US wall and the DS wall and then map to both. If each wall is its own 3D object and I create a virtual screen for each wall, is mapping to both with 1 image as simple as making a 3rd virtual screen that covers the space of both walls? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe
  3. Thanks Thomas, We currently have HDMI to SDI converters made by BlackMagic. They are the Battery Converters SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI. Are you suggesting that I replace those with the ones from your post? Thanks, Joe
  4. I am new to using z-depth, I was wondering if you might be able to help me with a setup provided by a designer? There is a DS portal that frames the stage (DS Plane) and an US screen (US Plane). He has 2 projectors off set from center line 5' HL & HR on the balcony rail. One is covering the full US plane and the SR/HL portion of the DS plane and the other is covering the full US place and the SL/HR portion of the DS plane. So I am in need of creating 2 different types of blends one for the US and one for the DS. Right? Or as you mentioned in your post, using the Z-depth. However, I am not very familiar with the Z-depth setting. Can you explain more? Thanks Joe
  5. Thank you all for your help! I am using the BMD Intensity Pro Capture Card - Version 10.4.3 You are able to shut off the HDCP with in the PS4 so I did that, which allowed me to see the signal in BMD Express. Still not able to see it within Watchout even after changing to 1080p 2997. Any new thoughts? Thanks, Joe
  6. I am working with a performance group that is performing live music to a PS4 video game while it is being played live. I am capturing the video game output via a BM Intensity Pro and have had success seeing the PS4 in BM Media Express. For some reason when I create a live video in Watchout and move it to the timeline, no live video appears. Looking for some thoughts on how to resolve this issue. What I have done: - Verified that BM Media Express is seeing the capture input. - Set the device within the Watchout display computer. - Created a Live Video from the media menu. - Live video setting: Input Device 2 HDMI:1 Video Standard: 1080i 5994 Deinterlacing: None - Verified that the input Resolution and refresh rate are 1080i 5994 which match the settings in Watchout. Hardware: Blackmagic Intensity Pro PS4 Any help of advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Joe
  7. If there are two graphics cards in the display computer can you have two different resolution one on each card?
  8. Hello, I am new to this forum and have been using Watchout for about 4 years now as a designer. I am designing a system where the theatre has 1 Watchout display computer with 2 separate video cards. I am wondering if I can have each of those video cards output a different resolution. In the past I was always under the assumption that each resolution needs it's own display computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
