  1. Hello! We finally managed to reproduce this error here, and it has been resolved. The bug fix will be included in an upcoming service release of Watchout 6. /Erik
  2. The looping issue with prores files (Unable to decache DS video) has now been resolved together with some other issues in the prores decoder. The fixes will be included in an upcoming service release of Watchout 6. /Erik
  3. Hello! I can confirm that there is a bug in Watchout 6.0 that affects Hap and HapAlpha for certain video resolutions. HapQ may also be affected if the width and/or height of the video in pixels is not an even number. The bug has been resolved, and the fix will be included in an upcoming service release of Watchout 6. Hap videos (standard, alpha and Q) should now play regardless of the resolution. Even odd sizes work (for example 1201x1203). /Erik
  4. Hello! I will start looking into this immediately. There has been some problems with hap videos in certain dimensions in the beta versions of Watchout 6, and I was hoping I had managed to sort everything out. But apparently there are still some bugs hanging around. Hap is not available in Watchout 5. You will need Watchout 6 to be able to play Hap. /Erik
  5. Did you see any error message in the message window in the production software? If it happens again, please take a screenshot and send to support. /Erik
  6. Hello! The looping issue will be included in a release as soon as we're done. It is currently impossible to say when, but we are working on it. Regarding HAP, it is a very nice codec, since most of the work is done in the GPU relieving the CPU of the burden of uncompressing video in real time. We support all three flavours of HAP (HapStandard, HapAlpha and HapQ). HapStandard and HapAlpha have the same quality, the only exception being the alpha channel. HapQ takes more space than HapStandard, but is quite a lot better in reproducing colors. There is no way to get alpha with HapQ, meaning that is you want alpha you will have to live with slightly lower quality. /Erik
  7. This topic has already been covered here: http://forum.dataton.com/topic/1784-looping-prores-files/ In short, we are aware of the problem, and working on fixing it. In the meantime, you may put the video in a a composition with the same length as the prores video, and loop the composition instead. /Erik
  8. Thank you for the information. We are aware of the problem and will fix it in a future release. In the meantime, you can loop the video by putting the movie in a composition, and loop the composition instead of the movie. /Erik
