arjenmooij
Hi, When the main timeline is running on timecode and I disable the timecode Watchout crashed. This happens every time I do this. I will be able to switch the timecode on and off while the timecode is running. Any thoughts? Greetings Arjen
Fredrik Svahnberg
Hi Arjen! In oder to trouble shoot your system we need need to ask you for more info 1) How is everything connected and what device is generating the timecode? 2) WATCHOUT hardware? 3) WATCHOUT version? 4) When you say "I disable the timecode", how is this preformed, Is it a command from an external control system? 5) You say it is 100% reproducible. Does it crash also if you just pull the timecode cable?
arjenmooij
Hi Arjen! In oder to trouble shoot your system we need need to ask you for more info 1) How is everything connected and what device is generating the timecode? Timecode is coming in to the production machine by minijack in the line in. Timecode comes from the audio department. 2) WATCHOUT hardware? New WO6 machines. 3) WATCHOUT version? WO 6 4) When you say "I disable the timecode", how is this preformed, Is it a command from an external control system? Disable from the production machine preferences 5) You say it is 100% reproducible. Does it crash also if you just pull the timecode cable? When I unplug the cable WO doesn't chrash. When plugged back in it just works. For the rest there are no timecode problems. Timecode tester gives a good signal. Have a nice weekend, Arjen
PierreLucB
This same thing is happening to me right now running Watchout 5.5.2 and Windows 7 64bits. When timecode is running and I go to the Watchout Production computers' preferences and I uncheck the "Timecode control of Main Timeline" the watchout production software just disappears (quits) without any error message. I have to re-open watchout afterwards.
