Carlo
Hi, I'm searcing for a while but i don't find anything, so i'm gonna ask here. for a event where the production computer is probably in not very confort place i want to control the show with watchnet, very easy control i only need a fey play cue to control. but i need to check the time of the timeline. is that possible? to add in the watchnet panel a text element with main timeline current time? thank you. Thomas Leong
Instead of Watchnet, you could use the free WATCHOUT REMOTE APPLICATION. It will provide you a reading of the Timeline's time. However, you will need a secure wi-fi connection between the Display PC and the Android/Apple Remote to make the connection.
joakim
Hi, Sadly no, this information is not possible to display on a WATCHNET panel at the moment. May I ask why you need to manually read the current time of a timeline? I'm asking so that I can maybe help you find a work-around if you don't wish to / can't use the remote app. Best, Joakim
Miro
Hi, some browsers forbid mixing https and unsecure websockets so we moved the remote app to an unsecured http location instread: http://app.dataton.com/remote/

Letting others in the crew know where we are in a cue is a constant need. I would LOVE to have a way to view countDOWN time of a current timeline for out cues and the like, within the Production software. joakim
Hi Kevin, I realise this is vital information that is needed in a live environment. What I was getting at is that there are ways of executing events relative to the current time of a timeline even if the information is not possible to display, e.g. through WATCHNET scripts. Thomas Leong
I have resisted for a couple of days commenting on this, and since no one else has, I can't resist any more! Songyost, 'Touching bottom' is a tRump specialty . I think you meant 'touching button'. So, in my opinion, your statement and question should read - I connected watchnet to display when I touch button1 the image1 is ok but If I touch next button image1 stopped and image2 shows. They are reversing every time pls help me to solve this Thank you I think it depends on what commands you have linked to button1 and button2. More details would help. Else, suggest you contact your Dataton Premium Partner, send them the Watchnet file, and they may be able to help. Other than that, I'm not conversant with Watchnet, so perhaps someone else can help too. Thomas
joakim
Hi, The issue has now been resolved, it was caused by having his two display computers configured as two separate clusters within the same show. Calling load show on one cluster therefore attempted to load the show on the other cluster (display computer) as well which caused the active auxiliary timeline to be stopped. Resolved by configuring the two display computers as belonging to the same cluster. Best, Joakim
jfk
Hi, The issue has now been resolved, it was caused by having his two display computers configured as two separate clusters within the same show. So is the only way you can make that error is using IP addresses in the watchmaker display dialog Computer field? I would suspect that error is not possible with a name in the Display dialog Computer field. Wish the user guide would be more assertive on that topic.
